Little Chips Missing From My Hood..
#1
So I was washing the car, and I noticed little chips out of the hood. Starting to turn that wonderful rusty red color. They're right below the paint surface, and the rust hasn't eaten away much if any of the metal below it.

Is there an easy way to touch this up? (Or, does anyone know how to do it that I can throw money and/or beer at to fix it?)

Its only 5-6 nicks that I've found, but its downright annoying.

Could I bust out the airbrush I use for painting my trains to deal with this, provided I use the proper paint?

I know the dent repair guy here uses an air brush for touch ups.

You'd want to use a fiber glass pen to get the rust out, then a drop of primer on it. Then either use a touch up pen, or the air brush. You could always wet sand a little after the touch up, then clear coat...

i've heard of using a rubber pencil eraser to rub the rust out before touch up. dont know if it works or not.
