ok, well, i've been thinking about this for a few months now, and i'm finally in the painting mood, i was just curious, i seen a can of duplicolour paint over at crappy tire, it's the colour for my car, and i really wanna do this myself, my question to you guys is, will this stuff work? and is there any special prepping that i'm gonna have to do to get a good finish product

you def have to 'prep' before paiting.
Take a look at the focus How's to's. It should be in the Interior mods link somewhere....
You'll need severall different grits of sand paper, some primer, and clearcoat.

Is there any kind of walk though or guide for doing interior parts like the vent's and thing's like that.
If so URL's are great.

Goto the focaljet (because that's where you go for stuff like this) and do a search. there are a ton of people who have done write-ups on this.

I personally would use fusion by krylon.
It has a flex agent in it already.

1. Dupilcolor works fine. My first parts were done in that stuff
2. I then moved to the Krylon fusion paint.
Both work fine, and look great.
Quick steps:
1. sand to the desired texture and wash in warm soapy water.
2. clean with something like acetone or similar to remove any oils transfered from your hands
3. shoot em with some primer and set em out to dry for a good few hours
4. Thin light coats of paint and then shoot em with some clear coat.
For duplicolor make sure you get the GROUND coat that they sell along with the metallic paints.
It is a silvery primer that adds a glitter to whatever top coat you choose.
Run your car, not your mouth
