Hey Guys,
I was looking into some coilovers for my Foci and I saw Dropzones for $129.99 US and BOMZ Racing for $105.95 US. I've heard good things about the Dropzones but what about BOMZ? Don't they just copy everyone elses designs (i.e. their Cold Air Intake, AEM replica)?
Which one should I go with, or should I spend the extra $400-800US and find different ones?

Both Dropzone and BOMZ (WORST BY FAR) are the worst or one of the worst springs you can buy for a focus or any other car. Dropzones are absolute crap and BOMZ is notorious for being a shitty product. Don't get either.
Do you absolutely need coilovers? Your going to have a rough ride with them, is your car a daily driver? Look into Eibach or Tein for lowering springs, even FK.

Actually Chad. Drop Zones is one of the top you can get now. They did suck but to be quite honest there are tuns of ppl with them now and they have had no problems.. You can find them for cheap and I mean cheap...
Drop zone springs are very good to..Match then up with good struts and your good.. Fk are hard to come by now a days since they shut down in north america
as far as bomz i had a bomz so did jarrod cai and it was prolly one of the best cai ever made for the focus... ful cai for cheap. exact clone of the aem... i have yet to here anything about there coils..
if you want low cost and something that will work drop zone will do fine.
if you want qaulity get H&R or KW. Also Apex is another good brand to look into..
Another amazing spring is Sprint. They have a 2" drop. Not to over priced either. By far the nicest ride for a 2" drop even on stock struts. The ride beats many 1.5 drops... It beat my old FK 1.5 drop...

Hey guys,
Thanks for the help, I'll have to look into the Dropzones then, I was leaning more towards them anyways since I havn't heard much about the Bomz coilovers. By the way my car is my daily driver right now, and the reason I want coilovers is:
1) I don't want my car eating snow banks and curbs in the winter
2) I want my car to be adjustable at the track

the only thing with coils is sure they can be adjusted but you also have to jack the car up and ya. Easy terms is if your a lazy person like myself lol raising it up and down is just a pain in the ass. Ride qaulity is rougher to. Be sure to do struts at the same time. With springs you can get away on stock stuts specially if your only doing a 1.5 drop..
