I'm marking my return to "organized" hockey this weekend with an appearance on the company team for the Big Brothers Tourney in North Bay. We're guaranteed 3 (1 tonight, 2 tomorrow) games with the chance for more. I haven't played organized since I played Junior C for the MTHL/OHL when I was 18. The closest I ever came to Junior A was a couple of skates with the St. Mike's Majors when they used Weston Arena as a practice rink. I knew a few of them and I got to participate in a couple of practices. I knew straight away that I wasn't even 3rd line material. :ph34r:
I've been playing pick-up off and on for the last two years now, but we've really been pushing to "get in shape" with 5 pick-up practices in two weeks recently. You know what? It feels good!
