I think your part number for the svt plugs is indeed the same part as the zetec's...so you'll want those 1 step colder copper plugs.

your dealership should be able to bring them in for you.. Mine did and it cost $3.70 ea.

Stock plugs will work fine. I used them for 10,000 km's before I decided to get AZFS-22C-F4. There is no difference...

Could be... I got mine from Ottawa Ford.

Seriously though you really don't need them with the JRSC. A colder thermostat would just make it run richer than it already does. Spend money on a cone filter instead. then you can actually hear the blower..

Order a K&N RF-1025. It fits right over the MAF. CTC can get it. Their p/n is 41-1500-6 It was 71.98.You may have to give them the K&N number as well.

You may also want to order a lower motor mount. Or just get the energy suspension M/M bushings.

bluetoy, thanks for the words.

today I went and bought few nick nacks to complete the install.

-Colder plugs from the ford dealer
-Typhoon filter to bolt on the maf
-(gift from DD1) custom SHM M62 intake tube with fitting
-new oil filter
-Mobile 1 5w30
-autometer boost gauge
-intake manifold gasket
-pair of mecanix gloves (save those knuckles)

I have a sweet shop to use on saturday with everything you could dream of tool wise. Painted floor, air tools, hoist, snap on you name it. (crazy kid and DD1 dad shop)

I might machine a new throttle bracket as I have read it is a weak part on the jackson SVT kit.

I will go with the jackson tuning for now but I will most likely upgrade to a better solution very soon.

anything I forgot? any advices or trick tips?

thanks.

The throttle bracket is a weak spot for sure. You can weld a small brace in it to strengthen it. The bracket cracks at the bend. just weld a triangular brace in there. Or you can look at mine on the Dyno day and see what I am trying to say. It takes a while to crack. It cracks because the stop bottoms out before the pedal hits the flor so by pressing the pedal all the way you bend the bracket over and over...

When u said K&N RF-1025 will fit on our MAF, do you mean it will fit like a glove or you have to squeeze it in? Coz I have try a 3" inlet APC(free from friend) and I can't get it into the MAF. And where can I get a breather if I want to remove the air box?

RF-1025 has a 3 1/4 inlet I think. It fits good.
