Ok so it seems that people are actually doing cheap setups and I'm just curious as to see who spent how much for their turbo setup.

NO BULLSHIT PLEASE

This is copy and paste dform a different thread

I'm going with a 1gen Mitsubishi 14B Turbo, internally wastegated at 7PSI. With a DSM SMIC.

Intercooler = $60.00 (From http://www.ca.dsm.org)

1Gen DSM ByPass Valve = $60.00 (From http://www.ca.dsm.org)

O2 Housing= $40.00 ( I got this from Clutch on our board. I think I got a good deal. You can find them on...yes...again...www.ca.dsm.org for ~$50-$60)

14B Mitsu Turbo = $200.00 from arkiser on this board

2.5 DP Gasket & Flange = $25.00 (I got all my flanges and gaskets @ roadraceengineering.com, but after getting raped in brokerage fees, I would suggest finding something local to Canada)

O2 Housing Gasket = $20.00

Lower IC gasket & Flange= $10.00

IG BOV Flange & Gasket = $20.00

Log Style Manifold = $400-1500, depending on what you want done. I got a REALLY good deal from somebody on this board, though I have yet to see the work, I'm sure its good. I'll let them post details if they want to go further.

Exhaust header gasket= $20.00

Pro-M MAF = $260.00 (http://www.c-f-m.com)

42Lb injectors = $220.00 (http://www.c-f-m.com)

Oil ines & fittings = $100-170 (I'm not sure as JAYS200ZX3, is setting something up for me here)

SCT Microtuner = $1100.00 (so far, modular depot)

Misc IC piping = $200-300 (not sure, this is what I've been told, they arent built for my application yet)

I think thats it.....I'll edit if I see I forgot anything.

I'll be budgeting a $1000.00 to the side for any last minute exphenses, dyno tuning and labour. With the above I'm hoping to be in the 190WHP+ range, 220 TQ+ range. Of course then theres the clutch, quaiffe, air/fuel guages, boost guage, etc...(as you can see, its easy to make the list grow and grow)

EDIT: MODS, we should make a sticky with this kind of info for everybody...not MY info, but a general thread to get people going in the right direction....

Notice the still pretty damn smooth A/F curve using the 5th injector.

With 7PSI, on 22-8-15 MT slicks, I ran a best of 13.504 @ 104mph.

Pic of me at the track PLEASE NOTE STICKER WAS ONLY FOR TRACK

Too bad it burnt to the ground. :( It would have a built motor running a standalone making double the power. :(
