Cel 1120 Code
#1
Engine has decided it needs a little attention and threw a CEL code, 1120. TPS out of range ( Thanks Hardkore for your assistance ) . What's confusing to me, is I replaced the throttle body and TPS a year and a half ago, when I got this code the first time, and I had to buy a new throttle body and TPS. I am calling the Ford Store today, to see if I have to buy the whole thing again. I have a 2000 Zetec, made in May, so I don't know if that has any bearing on it. When I first had to replace the throttle body, I called around to some wreckers and was told the Focuus used about three Throttle bodies in it's first year.

I really think that whoever sold you the TB + TPS before took you for a nice ride or had no clue what they were doing. I'm sure that you just need the right revision of TPS sensor and you'll be good to go.

Two Ford Dealerships.....two different cities. Needless to say, I called the Local Dealership in Oshawa, ordered a TPS. $87.00

Yeah, I'd start with a TPS too. Much easier to replace than a TB.

Good luck man!
