Well, mod number 2 went off without a hitch. Picked up the Iceman on Ebay (under $50 shipped from Texas, bought from Modern Performance during their clearance in late June).
Only had to make one modification to it since it was for an SPI. Picked up a 3" to 3" plumbing coupler at Home Depot, cut it to size, and used it as my connector from top pipe to throttle body. Worked like a charm! :)
Below are the before's and after's.
This came out...
And it looks like this now!
Definate increase in passing power on the highway, better throttle response once rolling. Definately helps with the high rpm breathing, not much for down low though. No noticable increase in noise either. Definately worth the money! :banger:
Two mods under my belt now. Maybe some more if money and time allow :D

Playing around with it with the car running after install, I covered the inlet with my hand and opened the throttle... I thought I was going to lose flesh! :D
As for the price, I couldn't complain. I was gonna wait for a Volant, but at that price, I couldn't give it up. Hell, it was $10 more than a K&N panel filter!

Is that the resonator I still see next to your airbox? I thought the iceman was supposed to add a second snorkle at that location (ala the SVT)

The later models did, but this is an early model unit. I'm going to keep my eyes open for an add-on duct on ebay. It's debatable if it adds anything (other than noise) anyway.
