Having said this, a couple of things we have to remember is that it shouldn't matter what type of Focus, or for that matter, car, our members have, and it seems there are quite a few who no longer have, or have never had a Focus, we all have a "passion" for the cars we are driving and whether or not we agree with another members modification, at least give the member some credit for doing a job, and doing it without making it unsafe or gaudy. Nik's enthusiasm for his modifications is refreshing and shouldn't be doused. I have the possibilty of obtaining a spoiler from a Honda, which, if it fits will be put on. Will I get the same critique, because the spoiler isn't a standard Focus mod?

Here here. Excelent point. Although after time you will get used to Meford's ribbing. I read, chuckle, then forget what he says. Most of the time I think its done more for the reaction.

Well said and I agree.
Unfortunately not everyone can grasp this.

Don't be disrespecting your elders, young man.
Honda spoiler, only if it fits, it's from a 2000 or so coupe, and it's cheap.

This is a man's site.
You're discriminating against the fairer sex. I've noticed a few, too few women on this site, and it seems that we need as many women as we can get. Because some of us don't know your sense of humour, some of the writing can be construed as inflammatory towards others and if someone starts reading some of the topics and read some of the comments which are written, they may be turned off and away, because of the amount of horses*#* that has occurred.
Having said all this, I look forward to meeting all of you at the BBQ

People, people, can't we all just get along? ;)
I mean we all drive a Focus because we love the car no matter its shape right? :)
Besides which, I'll say it again, hot hatches get unwanted attention from the po-po, hot sedans can drive like Tony Stewart and get nothing but a yawn, and hot wagons? Hell you could commit vehicular homicide with one and no one would believe it :D
I prefer stealth to shouting
As to MeFord, c'mon he's like that relative everyone has, you know the one where they go off on a rambling rant and you just smile, nod, pat them on the head and move on?

NIK good job on the springs, you need larger tires to make it look better. Gentlemen, lets get back to the topic and leave the personal stuff elsewhere. By the way, you guys, I'm short and overweight, so have fun.... and old?

Wow, I missed a lot in the past 6 hours. :o Let me say it again, Great job Nik. You might have a strange way of getting things done but it all turns out in the end. Looks great, and I still need to get my Eibach kit installed.

I cleaned up all the off topic posts in this thread, we don't need that in the appearance forum (or anywhere really, for that matter). Please keep on topic..
Looks really good Nik, nice and subtle. Like they were saying, the larger profile tire will give you less wheel gap and make it look a little better proportioned. Everything looks really clean, but what are you doing with your front signals?

+1 for the drop. I love the look of the drop. First is the exhaust for me, then
hopefully suspension as money allows.

P.S. How can I become a member of sedan faction? :)
