Visiting the "Chef" this weekend, my wife and I are becoming tourists for the weekend. The "Chef" will be our guide. I've booked "The Arc" to stay at for the weekend. Has anyone heard anything about it, and it's restaruant?

I had a buddy stay there on business, but not quite his style. It's kinda new-age, I guess. He's more of a Quality Inn kind of guy. He couldn't get over the square water bottles in the room... :D He thought it was nice, but too hoity-toity for him.

It's right downtown, 5 minute walk from Parliament Hill, and 5 minutes from the NAC and Rideau Canal. 15 minute walk from the Rideau Center & the Byward Markey (MacKenzie King Bridge is closed for construction, so you have to go the long way, I think). Oh, and right on the OC Transpo Transitway too. The World Exchange Plaza is right near too, so if you wanted to catch a movie, they have a little theater there.
