Firewall Issue

does anyone know if there is some sort of gromet or a hole i can get through to run my power wire to my amp?

if you got an automatic...it's super-duper easy...send it through the plastic cover where the clutch pedal would come through..

If you got manual..there is a area above and to the left of the clutch they can be drilled through with relative ease...the hardest part is squeezing yourself down there and the no light factor....

oh yeh...some folks have routed the cable through a small hole at the base of the steering column...its actually the plastic covering that surrounds the bottom of the column,,,you can go through there and run the wire into the engine compartment and up to the left...

yeah I routed mine through the steering shaft area. It was an easy solution granted we didn't have anything to drill a hole with.

alright i couldnt reach down to where the steering column was but i found a gromet on the drivers side where you open the door, i used it and the door doesnt shut on the wire anymore lol

there is also room by the hood release cable...

I had to drill a hole though. nothing big enough there to run 1/0 gage...
