They don't suck... they're just overrated and way overpriced.
This... is a clean deck imo.

personally, i think that deck is ugly. also, only 3band EQ, no DTC, and 2.2 volt preouts. that equals N-O.

2.2 Volt Preouts...WRONG!!! that baby is packing a true 4V preout. I have that exact same premier deck in my TransAm. Only reason I upgraded from the premier 670p to the 770mp was because it was a 4v preout, mp3 player with onboard EQ. There are alot of sound adjusting features in that deck. Also it has a built in Volt Meter which is a feature on a deck that I find very useful.

If you want good preout voltage you got to go Eclipse. I have a Eclipse 8454 in my car and it has 8 volt preouts. We tested it on the bench and it put out 12.3 volts.

Pioneer builds killer s**t... my DEH-230 is well over 5 years old and still cranking out the tunes, even with a 2.2V pre-out.
I dunno Adam, I like your 770MP over the Kenwood, even if the Kenwood has higher pre-outs.

I have a JVC KD-AR300, and I am pretty happy with it. I was running two 12 inch subs with it and it sounded great, till my OLD alpine amp, which I got for free, blew after a few months...lol
