Suprised noone has posted this yet (that I saw in a 3 second sweep). Its a blog of a guy who is keeping up the only bit of internet connectivity in new orleans right now. He is ex-army special ops so his stuff is phrased as 'recon' or 'intel' etc. Lotsa photos too. And 'cus he isn't media he is almost one of the unbiased sources of first-hand info I've found.

Some of the more striking photos are a 3yr old girl abandoned by her parents in a rush to get water. She was still strapped into her stoller. And a series where a lady is pushing a shopping cart with an infant in a carrier in it. A guy walks buy and steals their water and keeps on walking. Chaos.
