Is this a job you can do yourself or is it best left to futureshop?

ya just gotta rip the headliner off, use wood to mount it ot the roof, mount the tv, cut the headliner to fit...your good to go

if you go enough patienece and time on your hands do it yourself, otherwards go somewhere OTHER than futureshop!!

I usually like to do stuff myself or enlist the aid of friends with experience, you never know how skilled some of the installers really are, especially at shops like futureshop.

Even if you know absolutely nothing at all...you have severe brain-damage, and your car is just a figment of your imagination...you'd still be best to stay away from Futureshop...Futureshop is a terrible company, poorly managed, not customer focused, and unfortunately has enough brain-dead customer to keep them in business....

I second Paul on this. Futureshop is a flying joke, I wouldn't let them put a CD in my headunit.

If anyone here is an employee, sorry, but I've seen them firsthand and so has my father-in-law. They actually sat there and argued with me that Pioneer Premier headunits were useless and so were Pioneer Premier subs. Then a co-worker came over and started echoing his BS. What a day, massively funny :lol:

Do it yourself, or ask around for some help. It'd be cool, but I'd lean towards in-dash myself.

Got ya. I've put in my past few stereos, but I' not very confident in cutting up the roof of my car myself as I've never even done anything similar to that before.

Maybe look into the cost of a headliner from a junkyard if you're a bit skepticle.

Like everybody said, its not a difficult job, just take your time, be patient, get a knowledgable buddy to help ya out over a case of beer and you're laughing...
