Well it seems that I am having an issue with the Focus these days.

When going to start it in the morning I usually key-forward, prime the pump and then start the car.
This morning I did the same, start the car it shut off. Key on to prime again, I dont hear the fuel pump. I did it 5-6 times then I heard the pump prime again and it finally started up and ran like normal.

I havent been driving the car regularly as its on a "long term borrow" to my mom, as she drives it everyday, albeit short local trips. I have my Saturn to DD. Believe me I miss the Focus.
I last drove it a week ago and it didnt do anything strange, so this has started to happen in the last few days. I asked my mom if its happened to her before, she says yes, to which I told her, "Thanks for letting me know."

However, during this mornings fiasco, the key in ignition chime was chiming a few times.

My thoughts:
Something going on with the anti-theft?
Fuel Pump on its way out?

Car has 232K KMs on it. Fuel Filter was done under 10K ago with a WIX filter.
