Two shows with good premise but the remakes lacked good writing.

Good writing, not great writing.

Bionic Woman started in 1975 as an offshoot of the Six Million Dollar Man and ran 3 seasons.

Knight Rider started in 1982 and ran for 4 seasons. Not too shabby by most TV standards.

Bionic woman wasn't that bad, and the chick playing her was pretty hot!

Knight Rider... the only "hotness" to be found was in the burning of reels upon reels of "new" footage in 50-gallon drums. :o

I guess I can consider myself lucky for not getting a chance to sit down and watch any of the episodes. I may have only seen about 5 min total. The Hoff wasn't the star, I wasn't interested. LOL

Never really cared for the new Knight Rider, I think I watched about 5 minutes before I tossed the remote and called it a night lol.

The original series I hold new & dear to my heart, as a young lad daydreaming about turbo-boosting over cars/trains/ misc. roadside objects lol

Besides Original Super-pursuit mode for the win lol

wow, I'm glad they canned it, it was horrable.. the 2 hour "movie" was 10 minutes I'll never get back of my life, but yeah the acting the scripts, and well everything about the show's remake sucked.
I was the only member on this board with a Yellow Focus Sedan, and a 2002+ Euro Facelift on a sedan.

Considering not a month ago NBC had in fact ordered more eps. (with a "retooling" of the show to come in January) this move makes no sense, unless Ford pulled the sponsorship plug after the markets tanked and auto sales collapsed :huh:

Not that I'll miss the horrible POC that the remake was but this is a 180 degree Bat Turn :lol:

dont care what any of you say. I loved it :)

but it seems like they always cancel any good car shows. All ppl care about these days are stupid crime s*** or reality shows. I'm just tired of all this BS. All i want is a good car chase!

I kinda enjoyed it too.
I have all episodes on my pc in 720p.
My boys realy like cars, so they liked it. I'm glad they love stangs as much as I do (do they even have a choice, LoL).
The plots were kinda getting better. Nice and simple. The fx were kinda cheezy, but what do you expect from an undestructable car! lol.
I did not like the look of kitt in pursuit mode, but hey, have you seen all the rice cars on the streets?!?
Anyways, my boys and I will miss seeing the black stang (in regular mode) each week. Guess I'll have to buy a 500 KR to keep us content, lol.
