I believe they actually run those motors on JET2. Same fuel as fighter jets and airliners. It's a more refined form of diesel. I've seen a Cummins out of an 18 wheeler look like that once. It was amazing, it was a cab over, there was a rod sticking up into the cab of the truck, I think there were some brown stains on the drivers seat of that one.

one of the comments on youtube made sense. as the back wheels bouced off the ground, he over revved and POP! goes your crankshaft.
