Pat and Liam Doran...I believe one of them blew a gearbox (?) during the 0-60, then Pat's car came back with a stupid 2.7 second 0-60....eek!!!

Very nice... seeing some of those rides and remembering what happened to them when they were brought over to this side of the pond and sold by Ford here always makes me sad :( (Merkur anyone?)

Yes, I WILL have one one day soon, probably within 4 years. I want one to play with as a project car. I had 3 Sierra 2.0 when I still lived over there, but could NEVER afford to get an XR4TI...but over here, they go for no money if you're willing to put in the time and work to restore one, which I am. I'm even gonna paint it British racing Green.... :)

Thanks for the pics Cochyn, and the memories...some nice motors there...ahh, Mk1 Escorts...fun times, fun times.... :D
