ok so if i get a focus zx4 se (w/ gfx) but it doesn't have a power moonroof or leather interior, am I able to add those features later?
Is there a place to purchase leather seats to swap the stock interior of the SE?
Also will ford or some other reputable garage be able to install a power moonroof on the SE sedan (if i wanted it done a year or 2 later?).
Be the change you want to see in this world.

I'm not sure what your options are ... but it would be a lot easier and cheaper (and safer) to swap the bumpers then to install an aftermarket sunroof ... if it were me I'd get the car with the leather and moonroof and then do the swap to give you the GFX pieces.
In other words get an SES the way you want and add the GFX pieces later.
The bonus is that with an SES sedan the leather is free with a moonroof - the heated seats and mirrors are standard ... ABS is standard ... and 16" alloys are standard.
Edit: and ... you might even find a dealer willing to swap the GFX pieces from an SE onto an SES - for a price of course.

For your leather seat check out Katzin. Really good companie for leather seats. I think that the Focus seats are pretty comfy so...just put leather on them. And for your sunroof. I know Ziebart will install sunroof. My buddy got his done in is Z24 and never leak and looks factory,.

I gotta agree with ZTW, when you get the sunroof and such with the car its better. Plus the SES comes with seat warmers and a rear swaybar. Also its all under warrenty. Just my thinking though.

yes but i heard to buy the gfx kit separate and swap the stock bumpers with it costs like 3x more than if you just buy it already on the car at the dealership (ie. 07 ST or SE GFX).
One guy at the parts department told me there's about 9 to 12 parts u have to buy for the GFX kit....it's not like a 3 piece set and just slap it on. So yeah, the only option truly is to buy it already on like the 07 ST's or an SE GFX.
I don't think buying an SES and then installing a GFX later is a good option. It'd probably be a heck of a lot cheaper to just buy an SE GFX and install a moonroof later on.

well if you want to see an aftermarket moon roof then I'll gladly show you mine, I know mine is not a stock ford one, as it is Double the normal size, plus I love how it opens and it's tinted and the sun shade is better looking then the OEM Ford one, with more headroom.
just keep in mind it will be a costly add on later on.

My vote (for what it's worth) is that you get a ZX4/ZX5 SES and maybe do the moonroof later. You get cloth heated seats, powered everything, heated mirrors, TCS, ABS... and if you get the ST you get all that with the bigger motor and the adapter SVT suspension.
I really can't emphasize enough the need for a rear sway in the Focus if you want to drive "spiritedly" / aggressively. If you want to retrofit a rear anti-sway with a S/SE model Focus, you need to add a rear subframe connector that has provisions for the anti-sway mounting bolts.
The SES or the ST are the way to go here. :)
There were a few SESes(eses?) at Stockfish a couple of weeks ago. Check DRyanC's thread for the links to the stock items.
