I like it - has some originality to it.

Not bad.

But it's just more evidence that the longer that we expect Ford N.A. to keep giving us an economy Focus (which I love, don't get me wrong)... the longer we DON'T get the new Foci.

If that's really the new Focus, then we definitely aren't getting it in North America. There's no way in hell Ford would release a car that looked that good here.. They've probably got a good 8 or 9 years of reskins planned for the old Focus platform instead.

I think the hood/grill/front bumper could use a little reworking to get it a little more aggressive, but the rear quarter on the 3-door looks perfect.

The headlight/fender design does look like they're taking design cues from Mazda though.

Definately nicer than anything we've got over here in a compact car. I'd be surprised if we ever got something that nice. We'll prolly get the MKII from europe right around the time they get this car in europe. That would keep us a generation behind as Ford seems to want to do for some reason.

I'd buy that 2 door coupe in a heart beat, man it looks good. I hope it comes with the inline 5 too. That would be amazing.

As long as it has more pull / more rev-range than the VW inline-5. It was fun to tool around in the Rabbit, but you needed those 6 cogs to make it really move.

damn that looks good!

I'm not a particular fan of the mazda front end, but the side profile is beautiful...
