I was thinking about getting Carfax service but the problem is the 30 day time limit ... 35 bucks for ten reports isn't too bad if you could take your time doing it ... but 35 bucks for ten with a 30 day time limit just doesn't seem worth it somehow.

Crap I didn't know there was a $30 time limit well I guess if your looking into buying a used car and can't deside between a few then it would be worth it. Isn't there an unlimited account?

Yep ... but same 30 day time frame - just unlimited number of reports.
Here's the Customer Agreement for the so-called Unlimited Plan:
I agree to pay a one-time charge of $39.99 (USD) plus applicable sales tax in the following states: CT, DC, HI, NJ, NM, NY, SC, SD, TX, WA and WV, according to my card issuer agreement. This 30 day Unlimited CARFAX Reports Plan is valid for 30 days from the date of purchase, and is intended for my personal use only.

I bought an '05 Taurus Wagon for the wife. Dealership trade in, body is good. $5200 taxes, safety and emissions in. 130k on it.
