Actress Sandra Bullock has tied the knot for the first time, marrying mechanic and television personality Jesse James of Discovery Channelâs Monster Garage.
The pair reportedly wed at a ranch near Santa Barbara â the latest nuptials to have successfully avoided the bright lights of the paparazzi.
Bullock, 40, and James, 35, exchanged vows on Saturday at the Folded Hills Ranch in front of a few hundred guests.
The beautiful locale, in Santa Ynez Valleyâs wine country, was host to several celebrity guests, including Bullockâs Miss Congeniality co-stars William Shatner and Regina King, as well as actress Jamie Lee Curtis and Metallica lead singer James Hetfield.
It was seen as a curious pairing â the Hollywood golden girl and the tattooed TV bad boy.
They met in 2003.
Bullock, who recently played the wife of a district attorney in Crash, was previously engaged to actor Tate Donovan.
Meanwhile, James has been married twice before, and has three children.
