Will a stock Ford 14" steel rim fit on a 2001 Focus Wagon? I currently have 15" alloy wheels with summer tires on it, but have a local that is selling 4 x 14" studded winter tires for $80CDN and it's too good a deal to pass up.
WIll a old Escort rim (or ??) fit on the Focus (and clear the front disc brakes etc) so I can mount some 195 60R14 tires/rims onto the car for winter?
Thanks!
(I have the tires held for me til noon tomorrow !)

A 14" rim will definately fit but they have to have a 4x108 bolt pattern.
I think the Escort had a different pattern, I'm sure it was 4 bolts but not 108mm between each bolt hole.
Old Contour, Mystique and even some older Saab wheels are good used wheel choices that do fit.

A guy @ work may have some old 14" Ford Tempo wheels.....pretty sure they're 4-108...but don't know about the offset. Anyone know for sure if they'll clear the brake calipers on my 01 FocusWagon? He's away for a few days, so can't get them til next week.
APPRECIATE it.,
Thank-You

its hard to say without knowing the offset. my guess is they will either barely fit or barely not, so even if you did know the offset, you really just have to go there and try it out.
i think the only thing i'd be comfy putting money down on before test fitting is 14" steelies off another focus.. maaybe off a contour i'd be ok with to...

Crappy Tire had cheap stealies a few months ago they we're the one size fits all stealies too so they should fit the Focus without any problems, but again see if you can try them before shelling out the cash for them.
OFF TOPIC: Small world ve9aa good to see you here on Focus Canada.

I bought the 14in steelies at Canadian tire for my ZX3 for the winter and they fit fine.
They were 4 x 108 and were listed only for a focus
