Ford to offer buyouts to 8-9,000 employees
GM to offer buyouts to all unionized workers. ( not clear if that includes Canada )
Gm's net loss for 2007 was $23 million
Just read it's for the US workers that the buyouts are offered at GM

I did some work up at the Chrysler head office last month and talking to some of the senior guys most were offered $50'000-$75'000 buy outs.

GM and Chrysler are light years behind the times. Ford starting offering buyouts when the decision was made to close plants(including the truck plant) in what???2002 I believe??
Unless your very close to retiring, the buyout is not worth it.
