I did, simple steps.
Sand.
Clean.
Prime.
Clean.
Paint.
Clean.
Clear.
Done.
But I did that while we were doing the entire car.
I have a few cars.
One for my dog.
One that has no roof.
One that looks good parked at the golf course.
One that is being rebuilt by a guy named Nero..... will it ever be done?

i dunno if ur really up for that task i would rather let a body shop do it because when they did mine they used like 5 think layers of primer and u could still see the bumps a lil

If your Focus is the same color as the SVT was offered in, you can buy the SVT painted handles and swap them out.. could be a little more expensive but would save you the work of prepping your stock handles for paint.

I remember someone say that the mazda tribute has the same door handles and you can get the parts desk to order them for you primed. Might be worth a look

thanks everyone
i have full use of a body shop now so im going to paint them myself.
i priced out the handles at ford and there about $110 each door (2 pieces) and i dont want to fork out that much coin when i already 2 sets.
as for the mazda tribute handles you need a vin number to buy from mazda.
