Either way, Ford is smart to offer so many versions of the stang. It's been selling like hotcakes, and will likely continue to do so by making the car more appealing to different types of drivers.

Still, I hope it's only a difference in price of like $2500-$5000 over the GT, and not something ridiculous...

Why not? There gonna sell every one they can build. Speaking of Shelby, at the Ottawa Ford show and shine on Saturday a guy pulled in with a 3 week old '07 GT500. Red with white stripes. Needs to be lowered.
