Okay..rims wont be happening for a bit yet..i'm looking for some new rubber to get me through the summer, I have winters...
what do you all recommend for dedicated summer rubber?! I am looking for 205/50R16 rubber for the stocker 16's!
I saw Toyo T1-S tyres today and they got me thinking....

From everything i've read, I'd go with the fuzion ZRi's for sure. Good tire for a decent price. Thats what i'll be putting on the rims next year or maybe this year if i can get the money.

if you're looking at the T1-S then get it over the others. I've have the Kumho, Falken and various others and the Toyo T1-S out performed them all.

215/45R16 wont fit my stocker 16's..will they
205/50R16 stock..??

215 is only 10mm wider than stock. They'll fit no problems.
Stock is 205/50 you say? that's 24.07" tall. 215/45 is 23.62" tall.

imho, best summer tires are as follows...
1. Falken RT615s
2. Toyo T1-R
3. Falken FK452
4. Bridgestone SO-3PP
5. Kumho MX/Toyo T1-S
for the money you will haved a hard time finding a better all around perfomance tire than the new Falken FK452s. they have better grip than the old 451s but are much quieter to drive on. treadlife on them is going to be the best out of the top 4 i listed and around that of a MX or T1-S.
the best tire strictly for perfomance will have to go to the RT615s.
the S0-3 is compairable on grip but is 2-3x the price.
oh and 215/45s will work in place of 205/50s
you could use 225s or even 195s if you really wanted
basicly the only thing you are concerned with is being close to the same in revs/mile...
Specification.... Sidewall....... Radius........ Diameter. Circumference.. Revs/Mile.. Difference
205/50-16 ......... 4.0in ......... 12.0in ......... 24.1in ......... 75.6in ......... 838 ......... 0.0%
195/50-16 ......... 3.8in ......... 11.8in ......... 23.7in ......... 74.4in ......... 852 ......... -1.6%
205/45-16 ......... 3.6in ......... 11.6in ......... 23.3in ......... 73.1in ......... 867 ......... -3.4%
215/45-16 ......... 3.8in ......... 11.8in ......... 23.6in ......... 74.2in ......... 854 ......... -1.9%
215/40-16 ......... 3.4in ......... 11.4in ......... 22.8in ......... 71.5in ......... 886 ......... -5.4%
215/50-16 ......... 4.2in ......... 12.2in ......... 24.5in ......... 76.9in .......... 824 ......... 1.6%
225/50-16 ......... 4.4in ......... 12.4in ......... 24.9in ......... 78.1in ......... 811 ......... 3.3%
225/45-16 ......... 4.0in ......... 12.0in ......... 24.0in ......... 75.3in ......... 841 ......... -0.4%
225/40-16 ......... 3.5in ......... 11.5in ......... 23.1in ......... 72.5in ......... 874 ......... -4.1%

Is it worth going from 205/50R16 to 215/45R16

is it worth it how?
yoyu are going to get a slightly larger contact patch and the lower height will shorten the gears a bit but for the most part you wont notice much of a difference.
some tires are not available in certain sizes so you have to work with what is available...
