Because the Subaru is a much superior car....VW knows it. that's the whole thing.. the cars aren't even in the same class... performance or monetarily good ad tho. Daily driver 1: 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport "S"
33" BFG Mud-Terrain KM2s, lots of Rough Country gear - bumper, 2.5" lift, swaybar disconnects, Superwinch 10,000lb winch, Detroit Locker in rear D44 axle, custom exhaust, K+N filtercharger, Superchips-tuned. Daily driver 2: 2006 Subaru Legacy GT COBB Stage 1+ package - AccessPort tuner, COBB intake and airbox. Stage 2 coming shortly - COBB 3" AT stainless DP and race cat, custom 3" Magnaflow-based exhaust and Stage 2 COBB tune.
There's no struggle.
I saw the STI 4-door the other day... I could get a baby seat into that car. ***adds it to the list***

I'd opt for the lighter insurance of the WRX, but there's no denying the appeal of a 300/300 turbo 4.

One of the primary reasons for selling the Focus and getting the Impreza was that we could not get the rear-facing carseat to fit in a manner that left me able to fit in the car (comf-like).
