So last week one day I get a pm from Anthony about my avatar. Here's a copy of the message,

Hey Man:

Sorry, I had to remove your avatar. The rules are nothing sexual or offensive.

I think to myself, ok, cool whatever, one of the ladies on here got offended by a picture of a girl in tight white pants with a particularly nice to look at butt. So I responded to him saying hey no problem, and then half sarcaticallly stated, what about a couple others that could be deemed as sexual or offensive. Such as focusnme, a cartoon drawing of a girl with her her hand down her pants with lettering saying, mmm Peaches, also meford4u, with a, albeit very small, stripper looking girl with wings for his avatar. Plus not to mention someone else having an ad for allchicks.com I believe it was.

So I'm not one to be a bitch or ababy about stuff, as you can all see I changed my avatar no problem. My question is, why was my avatar removed when these ones aren't? Like I said, I'm not going to be all babyish about it but just curious that's all.

Any comments or anything I'd like to hear what people have to say about it because I don't think many people would be offended by a nice butt in white pants if they aren't offended by these other avatars, and hey, if it's a rule for one it's a rule for all isn't it?

I never saw it so I can't comment on it, but I'm not offenced... not to mention anything sexual dose not offend me cept for S&M stuff....

Well I am a female... and I am not offended.

The only thing I can think of is that... (I assume you picture was of a "REAL" woman)... since your picture was of a "real" woman and the examples you used above are cartoon pictures, and not of a "real" woman.

If that is not the reason, then that is something you discuss with management.

i think cartoons and real pics are the same thing if it considers somethin sexual....

lets take for exemple a porno real pic and porno cartoon pic......would u band the real one but leave the cartoon one?

You cannot have an avatar that say, for example, your at work and viewing this site and your boss walks by and sees a particular image that, by office standards, may offend someone.
You can bitch away about my avatar, but the boss knows about it . And he doesn't have an issue since it is off the hood of a Focus (any ugly Focus at that)
So in hindsight, your avatar was borderline and that's why it was allowed to be viewed for such a long period without you being asked to remove it. But once there is a complaint, then it will be viewed and removed.

Oh, and just for future reference, suck it up. No one likes a tattle tale.

It would be reviewed by the admin and he would remove it if necessary.

I have had my avatar removed before. Remember what I said earlier about foot in mouth? You now have both feet in your mouth for talking out of turn and assuming I am not treated just like everyone else.

Because I am treated just like everyone else.

And that's how the admin runs this site. Fairly.

I think you just did.

Meford has had that for quite awhile and no ones said anything or it woulda been changed. Just accept that someone found yours offensive and move on. Keeping on about this is only gonna get you in trouble with the mods. You've been here only a few months, why not make some useful posts before you go complaining about the way things are.

I accept the fact that someone found it offensive and respect that opinion, personally, I like Meford's avatar, if I may ask such a question of the man, could you email or pm me a full size version of it, I didn't realize that it was off of a focus hood, from what I can tell, it looks kinda cool.
