Apparently PC Financial had been notified by the police that some of their debit cards had been compromised. Unfortunately, my BF's card was one of those. They had cancelled the card, but hadn't done so in time as his card was used to withdraw the balance of his account (to the closest $20). We only found when we tried to watch a movie today...
Their response?
I guess this is a reason to avoid resellers of banking services.
Personal note to all if you have an account with either bank check your statements and make sure you know where your money is.
