We got the new HDTV receiver installed, and it was worth the rental fee for the upconversion of normal tv to 480p alone.
I was glued to the couch watching a special on the Mars rovers last night on PBSHD.
The receiver's adjustable in output from 480i (not sure why you'd do that to yourself) to 480p, 720p and 1080i. I was watching @ 1920x1080i last night.
WOW.
We also got a new amp... Sony STRGD800. Holy crap it's awesome. The sound is amazing. The new Prologic IIx for music just blows me away.
I can't wait to go home today :D

The funny thing is that they actually have 2 or 3 HD porn channels. I was expecting 1, tops. :lol:
I'm tempted to get TMN for a couple of months just so TMN-HD is included (I believe that's their package offer, anyways) and I can test-drive that.
Otherwise, it's pretty sweet.
