Fram blows. Motorcraft FTW.
Lots of independant tests prove superior protection from the OEM part. Same goes for plugs. Motorcraft > All Else

Is that a built engine , if so then you did good ,stock zetec rods are weak .Now you can run more boost B)

Ford filters (Motorcraft)are made by Kralinator. Fram is just as good.

Frams are generally known as being pretty crappy.
I usually go to a Ford dealer and buy OEM filters by the case, get the jobber rate. They're only like $5/each or something.
They may be made by CompanyX, but all that matters is the Ford specs they are built to.

No, not built. Cant afford that right now. I'll build up my old motor and drop in that next year or something.

You dont hear 'psshhh' pshhh' because I am venting the blow off back into the intake. Runs better that way, well for me at least.
@ 9psi my car put down 196whp, 220wtrq, gonna keep it at 9 till I build the other motor. Im pretty sure im gonna remove my boost controller, being able to turn up the boost with a flick of a button is a little to tempting for me right now. :lol:

if that fram filter is identical to the OE spec oil filter for the focus, then i guess my bad i don't know what i'm talking about. i've read and heard that fram is on the crappy end of the oil filter spectrum
personally i don't put aftermarket oil filters on my bike or car. i always picture japanese engineers to be really anal, detail oriented perfectionists so i trust whatever spec they have come up with and whatever supplier they have chosen to use.
