I want to put a Picture in my profile..but it says that i can't cuz the administrator didn't enable that option or something ... When can i put one ? :blink:

Profile photo or avatar image? I've never added a profile picture so to test it out, I just added one and it worked fine. Maybe Steve (darkpuppet) would have a better idea as to what's up?

Well it says in the avatar options menu that the image will be scaled down if the image is too big so i dont know.. even if its too big, it should still show up.. is your image hosted somewhere? i mean is there a link to your image or is it only on your computer.. if so just send the image to bering-@videotron.ca and ill see what i can do.. but now i dont think its the size..

in the avatar settings, click on the button for Upload Image from My Computer..
browse for your picture and upload. Of course, if the picture is too large, you won't be able to upload it.
Best thing to do is register an account on photobucket.com (it's free), upload the picture there first, then link to the picture in your avatar settings by copying the URL under the picture in photobucket and then pasting into the avatar URL field in the avatar settings.

The problem is because the image is called focus.jpeg and the forum interprets it as .jpe and well.. it doesn't accept it (Same if you were to send an .exe or whatever..)
If its renamed with the .jpg extension, it works.

Anyway, i'm assuming the size your trying to upload is just too large, basically the image can be no larger than 100x100 pixels and/or no more than 100kb in size. Use 'Microshaft's' Image Resizerfor an easy fix when editing pics. :)

she uploaded me here picture.. I tried it (the image was called focus.jpeg) and it didn't work. I renamed it to focus.jpg and it worked.. with her image
