Ive got the TYC Altezza's on my ZX3 and im getting water in the trunk.. Whats the best way to seal them so they wont leak anymore.

You can run a bead of clear silicon around the seam, that should keep water out. Just take them off and look at where the lense attaches to the housing and make sure every part is sealed.

^^^ that is a good way of checking but are you sure its the tailights? Your weather stripping isn't too old and rotting away is it?

ALTEEZAS are infamous for that!

It't the main reason a lot of don't use them.

Ahh I just read it again and see he's getting water in the trunk. I read it as getting water in the taillights (which is also a common problem). There's not a lot you can do, since it has to do with the way the light housings fit (or rather, don't). You might be able to put some more weather stripping around the trunk opening and especially around the tails..

Aftermarket rarely ever fits like OEM, which results in problems like this.

simplest way to fix them is to go back to stock tail lights as they are less likely to leak and they look better then the stupid Alteeza lights any day.

Well ill be tossing these when i find some cash to get the Hella Tailights.. Even if those leak they will still look better. Haha
