It happened at about 11pm on the 401. I know a bunch of you guys and gals were wondering when I would hit this mark:
Amazing what just simple maintenance and keeping on top of repairs can bring ;)

Impressive Richard, I remember when we were neck'n'neck for mileage. Since I've been in the company vehicle, say 2.5 yrs, you've completely eclipsed me. In fact doubled. I'm still at 150,000.
Nik; are all 193,000 yours?

Jer: The only other guy was the Australian guy from myFordFocus...but he's dropped off the earth. I know Ben posted on FocalJet that he's gone to 200K on his SVT, I think.
Nik: I managed to stop in Aberfoyle. There was no way I was going to shoot & drive, considering there was trace black ice on the highways.

Congratulations on your accomplishment. I was getting worried, reading about everybody getting something else when their cars get up around 150,000 k. I'm hoping this Focus beats my previous Ford products distance record. I had a 95 Escort, I gave to a buddy when it had 415,000 k on it. He drove it for 50,000 more. Does a transmission rebuild, engine rebuild and all four struts count as small repairs? Also had a Buick Regal, it died at 250,000 k.
