I was t-boned in my wife's '00 in 2002 ... fortunately I was alone in the car and was hit on the passenger side.

But seeing the damage to the area where my wife normally sits (virtually new car, written off) ever since then I've ordered the side air bags on all four of our subsequent Foci - cheap at twice the price.
