2008 Focus, What Would It Take...
#21
Well, I probably won't be buying another Focus.
The focus will simply be too small for my familly.
I'll get the SVT Fusion instead ;)

I saw it at ford today and sometimes in person cars looks better, well the focus looks worst in person. It's tall, narrow and wierd. I'll buy me a used SVT or Mazdaspeed3 or a fusion ses 2.3l man (turbo that b*tch).

The new focus will be terrible for ford, someone should get the boot on this one. I don't think I'll see one often one the road. And what's with the Lion-man crap
They won't sell the ca if they show it for too long on TV; "so look at the not funny lion-man crap, look at it, yeah, now lets make it run to a car in a parking lot, far far away from the cameras  Only a stupid person that has no clue about how things are in the car market would want this POS,..enters the LION-MAN

Hey if you want one go for it, it's your choise, I won't judge you for it. But if no one buys this "ride" well this will send a message to for and maybe they will do something right like build us a real focus, like guys and gals in Europe are enjoying

Ok, I'm done

Ok, I saw the focus sport 2008 coupe and....it look pretty good, but I don't know if I want to do ford's job again :P

I voted wait for next gen. Not that I have a problem wtih the 08 model I really just dont have a need to purchase a new car at the moment. Might as well drive my current one into the ground and hope the rumours I have heard from some big wigs come true in 3-4 years.

I know there's a special focus coupe in the works, but it won't be out for a while, 2009-2010. And the new modial focus should be out in 2011-2012. I can't wait to see what they will look like, but if I get the new coupe I got to mod some stuff for me to like the car. I won't buy it if it comes only with a 2.0l dura, a 2.3l dura with a focus sport turbo would fun to have or a factory mazdaspeed 2.3l turbo focus!

Even if I needed one right now (which I obviously don't)... I'd go 2000-2007. Otherwise, it's wait for the next gen Focus or go with an entirely different manufacturer. Sorry, it's just THAT ugly. I don't care what it looks like on the inside, the outside looks like an Escort's crackbaby.

I'm thinking about geting a wagon or a ZX5 next summer. I'll watch what happends to the new focus, it may change into a nicer model in the near futur.

after driving and loading a couple of the new ones....I don't think I'd EVER want one....EVER...

now, that being said, i'd "consider" a lightened up, 2.3 turbo powered, 6 speed 2dr coupe, gun metal grey with ford blue racing stripes...."if" it were the right price.

I'm more than happy with my 01 though...

Nope no 2008 for me,, wont even spin the tires in the wet. it seems ford is just trying to please the people that buy a car for the fancy look and the quiet interior. In my opinion they look very much like a versa or a hyundai elantra ... An interesting car is going to be the 3.5l awd fusion. should be out at dealers soon , im just waiting for one to come in. Ive driven a few edges and they have some good pull but only up to 120 and then nothing but in a fusion it shoud be nice.
