While out and about last night, doing "errands", the car died. After a huge panic :( , 'cause one of my errands was pickin' up the pizza, my buddy drives me over to Canadian Tire to buy a new battery. The battery had died, after seven and a half years...... So, I asked the guy at Canadian Tire how long the new battery is guarenteed for and he says," the battery will outlast your Ford, or six years." So, the Guantlet has been thrown, and now I've got to make my Focus last for six more years.. :)
Where's the best place to buy a rebuilt engine?

Not too sure, I'll check the fine print tonight. At 6:00 p.m. last night, with only Canadian Tire open in my town, I really wasn't worried about the guarentee. I wanted my pizza.

im just bringing it up BC I know the ford one has a period that is free replacement and a total of 7 year waranty but its not totaly free after 3 years. If the waranty is better from ctc it might be worth getting one of those if needed. Does it have roadside boosting service? I realy understand your pizza issue, who likes cold pizza.

I'm expecting alot from the battery in my 07 Focus - to live up to the performance of the one in my old 95 Escort GT - just shy of 10 years before it finally didn't have enough CCA to turn over the car. Never once had to boost it and it never complained - even at -20ðC.
