Stress Bar, Front
#1
Just asking, before I get it fixed, whether or not having installed a Stress Bar between the Strut Towers could have caused the windshield to crack?

not unless it flew through the hood and hit the windshield

that strut tower bar is like a twig compared to the firewall in terms of stiffness. there is no way the firewall made the windshield crack, and the added stiffness (if any) that the strut bar contributes is negligible, so therefore the strut bar did not cause the windshield to crack

I had a cheap ebay stress bar that I bought for $20 and the drivers side of the stress bar ended up snapping on me and the most it did was bounce up and hit my hood.......... most I heard was a thump  So for it to crack your windsheild I think is physically impossible.
