I know from reading on Fusion boards that the AWD system on the Fusion is only good to about 300HP stock, after that "Bad Things Happen"

He's a mechanic so he does all the labour himself. Its a 6speed sti tranny with some goodies inside.

nef.. you can't really compare AWD in a ford fusion with AWD in a STi / EVO

the tech is totally different and the intended purpose of the cars is totally different

Oh I didn't mean that, I just didn't think that Subaru had built in that much room to tinker to get to those hp #'s...

The Ford AWD system in the Fusion is much more reliant on electronics, which is why the lower #'s, as I understand it :unsure:
