While the popular trend lately has been selling the focus we just bought another one. The Escort wagon was laid to rest and we picked this one up last week.
2002 ZTW 5Speed w/ 112k and rust proofed every year. I searched around one of the only ones I found without rusted quarter panels.
One question I have is Yes or No to the Lip/Sideskirts. They are just on there with masking tape for the photo.

YES, it makes it look a lot better than stock. When are you adding an SC to this one Kev?

Sadly this one's gonna stay mostly stock. With the exception of a few small bolt ons and cosmetics.

almost looks like the Street edition with the kit on there, but the lower rear bumper needs to stripped of the paint, and the moldings on the door are the wrong colour. but looks good.

Very nice catch ... my opinion on the side skirts is to paint them to match body colour or leave them but paint the lower part of the rear bumper ...
Are you sure it's a ZTW? In 2002 the 16" alloys were standard on ZTW - the SE Sport (Zetec + fogs + b/c side mouldings) came with the 15 inchers.

Yeah I think it is a SE Sport, it doesn't have the ZTW badges or anything. I may take it over to classic paint and see if they could match the finish on these skirts. They are not painted they are just grey plastic.

Yeah, after seeing it in person this morning I want one of those lips as well. I also need to get my side skirts painted and installed too.

I'd say you should take them off and sell the side skirts and lip to me lol.
I'd say keep them adn either have them painted body color or like an accenting color like a silver and have the bottom of the rear bumper done two it will give a two tone look kind of like how the 3rd gen camero, trans-am/firebirds used to do.
I'd think it would look sweet lik that.

Nice ride bud!
I'd paint 'em body colour and bolt them on. Maybe you can figure out something that was wagon-specific for the rear to complement it all?

I'm thinking to try and paint the rear to match the abs grey on the lower part. I'd like to stay away from body colour just because the abs plastic takes a beating and still looks deacent.

Naaaa, just sell me the lip. It would look a lot better on my car than your wagon. I know you agree. LOL
