Hatchback Or Sedan?
#1
I've notice that most of you have the 3 door hatchback, is it because most of you don't like the 4 door sedans?

I have a 4 door sedan myself, I'll be posting a picture of it as soon as the weather gets better for all of you to see :) the car still stock but hopefully not for very long, besides I need a decent ride for summer right? :D

btw its a 03 SE :)

Well the 3dr is Great for the single guy or as a second car in the driveway.
But the coupe is Sportier!
The sedan 4dr family but the ZX5 sports it up!
Sorry I'm not a big fan of the sedan.(looks too Dadish!)

I'd love a sedan!

only problem is i don't fit!

I hate driving my sister's ZX5 too!
The b pilar seems like it's in the way, and it seems likethere's more blind spots too

it would've been awsome if they had made a coupe, now that could've looked sharp!

I have a ZX3 because I thought it was sportier at the time of purchase. Now however, after seeing what a Sedan looks like all done up, I'd prefer to have the sedan now.

they should do a coupe..

the hatch do have more blind spots but if you adjust your mirrors ok, you get used to it.. i just got the zx3 caus i liked the more compact look

I love hatchbacks.

All the cars I've driven (except the RX7) were hatchbacks. Firefly, Golf, CRX, Focus...I love the room, I can put down the seats, set some blankets up and I've got somewhere to sleep if Im camping or whatever (to much to drink ;) ) .

When I moved to my place in Orleans, we used the focus, and thats it. Took a few trips, but it got the job done.

And I find the focus hatch to be much sportier than the 'old man' sedan, cuz lets face it, the pre 05 foci sedans are perfect for granny & grandpas.

I agree with Berin to.....Ford should make a coupe, but before they make that, get some boost in one of their foci's. Sedan or not. ;)

I'm a hatchback man.. I'm not too crazy about the Focus sedan, it can look nice but it can also look like a middle aged woman car.

About making a coupe.. I think there's enough Focus models as it is.. sedan, 3-door, 5-door and wagon? I didnt think the wagon and the 5 door hatch would both survive. They should make a ZX7, super stretch hatchback with a minibar in the back.

Hatchbacks are excellent !!! Its the only style of car I've owned. Lots of room and you can pass out in the back if you're all *ucked up

I like the sedan for two things: it's the lightest of all Foci, and handles just about as well as the ZX3 (stock for stock); two, it has true security for your valuables when tripping or just going for parts.

That trip we did last summer to Nova Scotia was SO much easier with 4 doors and a dedicated trunk. Easily-accessible junk food on the back seat with other essentials, and the rest (tent and all) in the trunk. The trunk just has so much more space for ANYTHING than the hatches. They're nice looking, but limited really. At least they all have the fold-down feature.

Plus, car audio's easier to secure back there as well, if that's your thing.

That and I just seem to like the tail-lights more on the sedan for some reason. However, the headlights are nice the way they are across the board (00-04 anyways).

I'll post up some pics after a few more mods get installed in a week or two. Welcome from one sedan owner to another! :D
