Ya it should be ok how low is the car thats the only prob. See I went with 215 40 R17 so that when I lower this thing next year I can go low with out rubbing. Though you should be good just a lil bit rubbering.

decided to go with 225 35 18..
little bit thicker and close to stock tire size..
but thing is nobody here sell 225 35 18 size within my budget..
most of them, are $300 per tire range..
1 place sell nankang or wanli around $500 range..but i had them before and disliked it..
megawheels carry sumimoto htr+ around $600 range..
they have to order it..i don't know where they go to pick up..but they say they can get it within a day..so i am gonna give it a try..

i am going to build it with FI later..
i didn't just buy new wheels and tires to change looks only..
safety issue was main reason..
if i didn;t have to buy wheels and tires, i would spent this $$ for swapping to manual transmission..
anyway..
