My screen size: ~ 105". Laptop screen: 14.1"
Watching the pizza guy's jaw drop (and almost drop my pizza!) when he comes in the front door with supper: priceless! :lol: :lol:
Hopefully I'll upgrade to 1080p and a BR player this year. Right now 1080i is plenty fine.

Do yourself a favour and future proof your BR player...
Get a PS3... anything else and the moving target that is the BR spec is going to leave you at a dead end :ph34r:
As to 1080i vs. 1080p, I dunno, it depends what I'm watching as to whether I can actually tell the difference, anything on Rogers Cable is maxed out at 1080i for example and there aren't that many PS3 games that support 1080p. Haven't been able to watch a movie side by side 1080i vs. 1080p to see what differences there are.
