how hard and how cheap is it to change one of these puppies?
i've been noticing coolant dribbles here and there, my levels are down and the heat just ain't as hot as it used to be in the car.
Anyone done one of these in their driveway? Anyone wanna come do one in my driveway?

The part is about $75 from Ford and it takes about an hour to do. Or you can let the dealer fix it (they quoted me $500!!!! :o ) so I walked from the service desk to the parts counter and followed these instructions below:

Come see me and I can get you everything you need for cheap.
Main housing, side connector (over tstat), thermostat, and gasket for under $100.
Recomment doing all of it ... we replace tons of these at work all the time.
Easy to do yourself.

Ya this isn't that hard at all. I did the one on my focus in about an hour in my driveway.
