so my 2000 zx3 5spd with 195k just started to grind reely bad going in to 3rd gear every thing is good but 3rd.
i cant see it being the clutch because every thing is ok but 3rd
has any one had this problem or know how to fix it. your help would be appreciated.
In Europe FORD is pronounced "\kwa-le-te\"

Inside the shifter box attached to the tranny theres a little ball with a plastic box around it that plastic box might be broken.

Syncros I bet very common on the mtx75 I just had the same problem

x2, MTX-75 3rd gear grind is usually the synchro's, learned that during my time on the Contour boards reading in numerous times :lol:
