I'm just new here but this sounds like fun... how much is it to do this and what do you usually do?

Something tells me we won't be going swimming this year! HOLY CRAP!

Seriously, we are actually going weeks later than we usually do and it has always been tropical in years past!

Oh well, it still is THE premier FocusCanada event of the year and such a friggin laugh fest and I am sure this one will be NO exception! An annual tradition since 2005, this will actually be the 5th time we've done this and lived to tell about it.

For the newbs and fence sitters:

Us veteran Focus campers are such a freindly and welcoming bunch; the booze helps in that regard! Just book a site be it close or far from the action depending on how important you value sleep and other than that just show up.

We have perfected how to organize a car meet over the years. The core group picks the same time and place year by year and there is no debate or discusion; one either shows up and enjoys or doesn't and misses out. A party just isn't an event unless I show up yet even I missed the 2006 one because I was "distracted" but que sera sera it went on all the same and the guys had fun without me.

Surprisingly its not ALL about drinking and in fact: wives, GF's and even a few single girls have shown up in previous years and had a grand time. We actually do other things like go on hikes, swim, visit museums/visitor centres excetera in addition to pounding drinks; albeit hungover.

I remember going into the McD's after the sabres game since our section won free big macs... and not just amazed that they fit one buffalo behind the counter, but 3 -- and even more surprised that they didn't eat all the big macs.
