IS it in the side wall or in the bottom of the tire?

If it's the bottom you could have just driven over it.....

if it's the side wall.... somebody hates you, but just be glad they didn't drill a self tapping screw threw your rim. That would really suck

no i did not driven over it

my car was parked in parking lot for 8hrs at least..
and when i came out i heard hissing and tire wasn't flat..
until i sat there watch and listen to hiss for another half an hour..

and there is clear mark that screw was drilled into and pulled out..
and it is right at the top portion of tire, right below wheel arch..

i hope it is repairable..

Some house was having their roof done in my sub division, the next day i noticed one of the roofing nailes ended up in my tire. Took the tire to Ford Head office in Oakville, my dads buddy pulled out the nail and patched it up for free.

If its on teh sidewall, you need a new tire. Nobody should patch that for you.

i ran over it so it ended up in the threads, not the side wall, not sure how somebody can run over a nail and it ends up through the side wall, but anyways, its as good as new.

With a hole the size of a self-tapping screw, I'd replace the tire so I could drive worry-free. In my opinion, plugs are for small nails and other tiny punctures, not screws and such with any real size to them.
