I'll be trying a 215/45ZR17 on a +40 on Saturday. Should be ok as I have a very stiff suspension.

However a 225 wide tire you will probably have to roll fenders.

Let us know how it goes, I have a new Saleen Racecraft suspension (~1.5" drop) on its way, and would like to run 215/45/17 tires on +42 offset wheels.

If you're running on stock shocks, you might want to upgrade them at the same time. They'll be shot in a few months with a lowered ride.
