i've seen them, K2 makes decent stuff but they're LED's still suck.
Little bit of show, little bit of go.

Haven't seen them in person, but it looks like they need more or brighter led's on the loop part...

That being said, I've read the "How To" for installing projectors and ST170's.... Just wondering if anyone here has done it. Would you recommend projectors over the ST170's? Vice versa? And was it a pretty simple swap? I have an '03 zts.

Thanks,

it didn't say, "not for hid" but i am pretty sure that is made for halogen bulb..
without retrofitting hid projector lens in it, light output will be shitty like a fog beam pattern..
i had st170 before, kinda hard to compare because i didn't have hid that time..

now i do have ebay projector that retrofitted using lexus projector lens and i have inpro(same as st170 but in gloss black with clear turn signal lens cover) which i haven't fitted to car yet..collecting dust..

Haha, don't worry. I'm not buying them. I think it would look terrible.

Are the ebay projectors decent quality though? I know they aren't the same as paying $500+ for a pair . But I'd like something that I can leave in all winter and not have to worry about.

mine are ebay ones and there nice a pain to wire if you want all the leds and glow rings to work but other then that i like them

I bought ebya Halo's and they burned out within a month. If you want cheaper projectors with some reliability pick up a set of APC ones like this,

and just paint them your body colour.

I was thinking of something similar to these:

http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?View...K:MEWAX:IT

I like these because they have a place for a signal also. I plan on putting an SVT/euro grill in top and bottom.

I'm not too sure about the extra led's on some of them. Seems like it might be a pain to wire.

You can tell the quality is not as good as the APC ones but they might do the trick if your going with a euro grill. Just don't expect the Halo's to last to long.

Ya, I can see what you mean. No offence though, I'm not really a big fan of the look of the APC lights although I'm sure the quality is much better. I think I'm going to end up with the ones I mentioned above.

Thanks for everyones input!
